Ben Calvert at Worcester Music Festival

“Are you playing Worcester Music Festival?” was a question that I heard a lot around his time last year. At that point I’d been living in Worcester for six months, and had played open mics prolifically at places like The Firefly and TripelB. Even though I knew a shed load of Worcester based musicians, I hadn’t heard of the festival.

This year, I’m playing Worcester Music Festival! Last year I saw the fantastic Catalana at St Swithun’s Church, and I’ve been dying to place there since. So I’m over the moon to be playing at that beautiful venue at 4pm on Saturday 13th September.

We’ll be a couple of weeks into Autumn by then, and this is the season that I swim in. So I’ll be playing a set of original songs inspired by the witching season, where the veil between the two worlds is at it’s thinnest…

There’s a very sweet page that they’ve set up for me on the Worcester Music Festival website where you can listen to my most popular songs on Spotify, and watch the video to The Sea, The Sea. And other stuff. Like donate to Worcester Snoezelen Project.
